Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a proactive Demand Planner in the United States to develop and maintain weekly forecasts for assigned customers and SKUs. You will work closely with Sales, Supply Planning, and Production to align on timing and availability, while communicating the rationale behind forecasts and monitoring accuracy.

The role requires 2+ years in demand planning, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with data visualization or planning software such as Anaplan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in demand planning or related fields.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis is required.
• Knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools or experience with demand planning software such as Anaplan or S&OP tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate weekly sales order forecasts for assigned customers and SKUs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Planning, and Production to align on forecast timing and supply availability.
• Explain the rationale behind forecasts as needed.
• Analyze historical data, channel inventory, and marketing inputs to produce reliable forecasts.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and key performance indicators.
• Support cross-functional communication regarding forecast changes.
• Work with Supply Planning and Commercialization on inventory strategies for existing and new products.
• Suggest improvements to planning tools and processes.
• Maintain parameters and logic used to convert consumption forecasts into sales forecasts.
• Contribute to demand planning process improvement.
• Monitor and manage channel inventory levels.
