Job summary

Sam Galloway Ford-Lincoln in Fort Myers, FL is hiring Service Technicians. We seek individuals with strong communication and documentation skills to join a fourth‑generation, family‑owned dealer with a long local legacy.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Service Technician experience preferred; Ford Certification is a plus.
• Diagnostics, Electrical and Multimedia capabilities required.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background, MVR and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Be flexible and maintain high level of customer service.
• Other duties as assigned according to skill level and certification.

• Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Other duties ay be assigned according to skill level and certification
