Job summary

Ford of Kendall in Miami, FL is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our high-volume service department. The role offers paid training, ongoing education, and opportunities for career advancement within a family-owned dealership.

Responsibilities include performing repair orders, diagnosing systems with diagnostic tools, and communicating with the Service Advisor about additional work and time estimates. A strong focus on customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience as auto Service Technician.
• ASE certified.
• Ford or other OEM experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicates with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and provides time estimates.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean and maintains a tidy stall.
