Job summary

Ricart Ford in Columbus, OH is seeking a customer-focused Service Valet to greet customers, move vehicles, and keep the service lane running smoothly. You will shuttle cars across the lot, prep vehicles for service, and assist Service Advisors with organization.

In this fast-paced role you will maintain a neat, safe lot, drive both automatic and manual transmissions, and provide friendly, professional service to customers throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean, safe driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Reliable, punctual and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Friendly, respectful, and professional customer service demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly upon arrival with a warm, professional attitude.
• Safely drive and park customer and dealership vehicles in designated areas across the lot.
• Retrieve serviced vehicles for customers upon pick-up and assist Service Advisors with lot organization.
• Install temporary seat covers and floor mats in customer vehicles; maintain vehicle clean-ups as needed.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated service bays, detail areas, or customer drop-off locations.
• Keep the service drive and surrounding parking areas clean, safe, and organized.

About the Role

Ricart Ford is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Ford Service Valet to join our busy service department. In this fast-paced role, you will be the first point of contact for customers bringing in their vehicles, providing friendly service, moving vehicles across our lot, and keeping our service lane running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Customer Service: Greet customers promptly upon arrival with a warm, professional attitude.
• Vehicle Movement: Safely drive and park customer and dealership vehicles in designated areas across the lot.
• Service Support: Retrieve serviced vehicles for customers upon pick-up and assist Service Advisors with lot organization.
• Vehicle Prep: Install temporary seat covers and floor mats in customer vehicles; maintain vehicle clean-ups as needed.
• Shuttle & Logistics: Transport vehicles to and from designated service bays, detail areas, or customer drop-off locations.
• Lot Maintenance: Keep the service drive and surrounding parking areas clean, safe, and organized.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean, safe driving record (required).
• Skills: Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the day.
