Job summary

Ricart Automotive in the North Columbus area is seeking an Automotive Service Greeter to welcome customers and direct them to the service drive. This role supports our busy service department with a friendly, professional presence and a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will greet guests, verify appointment details, assist with vehicle check‑ins/outs, ensure vehicles are parked and secured, and keep the drive and lot clean.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and meet MVR criteria.
• Ability to drive a manual vehicle preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must be able to walk around/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they pull into the service drive for their appointments.
• Retrieve, top off fuel, wash, and complete paperwork after service on a vehicle is complete.
• Drive vehicles out of the service drive and park in a numbered spot until service time.
• Ensure the vehicle is locked and windows are rolled up after parking.
• Observe and clean drive and waiting areas as necessary.
• Keep the drive and lot clean and clear of safety hazards.
• Inspect all loaner vehicles upon return for a full tank and possible damage.
• Any additional tasks as deemed necessary by the Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and directing them to the proper area of the service drive.
• Check the mileage and confirm the appointment details.
• Showing customers the results of their vehicle scan.
• Transporting customer vehicles to appropriate locations during their service appointment, and maintaining some aspects of loaner vehicles.
• Responsible for keeping the drive and lot clean.

What We Need From You Job Duties and Requirements:
