Job summary

Norm Reeves Ford is seeking a Service Valet to create a positive guest experience by ensuring every vehicle is washed and cared for with attention to detail. This entry-level role offers the chance to start a career in the automotive service industry with strong internal growth.

Your day will include greeting customers, directing them through the service drive, recording vehicle information, moving cars to the wash, and supporting service advisors.

Qualifications

• Full time availability and must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience driving a range of vehicles; manual transmission a plus.
• Exceptional commitment to safety.
• Strong sense of accountability.
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude.
• An eye for presentation and detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
• Control service traffic flow and parking.
• Determine if customers coming into service have an appointment.
• Record customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.
• Assist service advisors when needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Place vehicle interior protection in each vehicle.
• Tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles.
• Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked.
• Adhere to all customer service processes.
• Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed.
• Bring customers’ vehicles to the front of service drive when directed.
• Ensure customers’ vehicle is free of dirt and grease from their service visit.
• Guides vehicles through the car wash.
• Light lifting duties when needed.

As a Service Valet, you're one of the most important members at Norm Reeves Ford. You are responsible for creating a great service experience for our guests and ensuring all guest vehicles are washed and handled with excellent care. Your positivity and attention to detail are what keep our guests coming back time after time.
