Rydell of Independence is seeking Ford Service Technicians and Mobile Service Technicians to join our growing team in Independence, IA. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and competitive pay based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance per manufacturer specs.

• Complete repair orders accurately and timely.
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with service advisors.

What You'll Do

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, drivability concerns, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC systems, and electrical systems
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information to identify and resolve vehicle concerns
• Perform warranty repairs according to Ford standards and procedures
• Conduct inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
• Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Communicate repair recommendations and timelines with service advisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines
