Qualifications

• Experience as Ford Parts Counterperson or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Ford parts and accessories.
• Excellent professional customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with dealership management systems and parts catalogs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and order processing.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Sell parts over the counter to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver consistent support to other dealership departments.
• Handle telephone inquiries, provide accurate price quotes and product information.
• Upsell by suggesting related parts and promotions.
• Identify and source correct parts using catalogs and electronic systems.
• Apply technical information from manuals and bulletins to sales.
• Notify the Parts Manager of stock shortages or discrepancies.
• Conduct proactive phone solicitations to wholesale accounts.
• Pick, pack, and fulfill parts orders accurately.
• Prepare and cost out parts invoices for wholesale customers.
• Maintain parts stock in an organized and clean condition.
• Assist with inventory counts and returns under obsolescence protection.
• Support physical rearrangement of inventory as required.
• Assist walk-in customers with selecting parts and presenting specials.
• Notify the Service Department when ordered parts have arrived.
• Place orders for out-of-stock parts and return parts as needed.
• Billing and charging out correct parts with repair orders promptly.
• Ensure a valid Repair Order is presented before issuing parts to technicians.
• Maintain clean bins, aisles, and customer-facing counters.
• Stay current on new products and updates.
• Participate in required training programs.
