Job summary

Crown Motors in Redding, CA is seeking an experienced Ford Fleet Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain our Ford fleet vehicles. The role emphasizes speed and quality diagnostics, with an emphasis on minimizing downtime for commercial clients and documenting work in a compliant, detailed log.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on Ford fleet repair experience and proficiency with Ford IDS and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing Ford or similar fleet platforms.
• Proficiency with advanced diagnostic software and wiring schematics.
• ASE or Ford Training preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Ford fleet trucks, vans, transit vehicles and hybrids.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and powertrain systems using Ford IDS equipment.
• Minimize downtime with rapid diagnostic and preventative maintenance to keep client vehicles on the road.
• Maintain clear service logs and warranty documentation per dealer and manufacturer standards.
