Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealerships in Quincy is seeking an experienced Ford Certified Service Technician for our busy service department. This in-person role requires expertise with Ford, Mopar or GM diesel systems and offers hourly pay; the range is $20.00 to $38.00 per hour.

Position Overview

There is an opportunity to begin a career at the best dealership group! Quirk Commercial Truck Center in Quincy is seeking an experienced Ford Certified Service Technician for our busy Service Department! Quirk Auto has opportunities for inspired and motivated individuals who have the desire and passion to succeed. Please provide hourly desired rate and qualifications. Experience preferred in Ford, Mopar or General Motor and Diesel.

Key Required Proficiencies

• Using Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools to test vehicle components
• Test-driving vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification
• Diagnosing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, air conditioning, etc
• Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
• Assess individual client needs and think of innovative ways to get results

Preferred Skills

• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude
• Strong willingness to learn
