Job summary

Daystar Ford of Garrettsville, LLC is seeking an experienced Ford Certified Service Technician to diagnose vehicle concerns, perform repairs, and ensure quality workmanship. You’ll test-drive vehicles, use diagnostic tools, and work closely with the Service Advisor to inform customers of needed services.

This role requires Ford dealership experience and ASE certifications, with 2+ years in a service technician position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification.
• Ford Certifications.
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
