Job summary

Freedom Ford of Claypool Hill in Virginia seeks a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing dealership team. You will perform repair orders, diagnose repairs, and test-drive vehicles, ensuring work meets Ford standards with precision and efficiency.

Qualifications include ASE and Ford certifications, 2+ years of technician experience, high attention to detail, good communication with customers, and the ability to learn new diagnostic technology in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification required; Ford Certification preferred.
• Ford dealership experience preferred.
• Dexterity and troubleshooting skills with diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and computer basics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components with diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
