Job summary

Hireology in Southfield, MI is seeking a Certified Service Technician to join our Ford dealership team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of service technician experience and ASE or OEM certifications, with Ford certification highly preferred.

You will complete work on repair orders, diagnose required repairs, test-drive vehicles, and communicate with the Service Advisor about estimates and status. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided based on experience.

Qualifications

3+ years of Service Technician experience required.
Ford Certification highly preferred.
ASE or OEM certification a plus.
Dexterity and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional services and provide time estimates.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
