Job summary

Chaparral Ford in Devine, TX is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, test drive, and communicate repair needs to customers and advisors. ASE and Ford certifications with 2+ years of experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required; Ford Certification.
• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing automotive systems with diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes and HVAC.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
