Malloy Ford of Charlottesville is hiring a Ford Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. You will perform advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and warranty work across Ford models, with a focus on engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ford Certification preferred; dealership experience valued.
• Must have tools suitable for advanced repair work.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Ford vehicles.
• Service engines, transmissions, drivetrains, suspension and electrical systems.
• Complete warranty repairs per Ford and dealership standards.
• Use Ford diagnostic equipment to verify and resolve concerns.
• Road test vehicles to confirm proper operation after repairs.
• Document diagnostic findings and repairs clearly.
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with Service Advisors.
• Mentor developing technicians as needed.
