Job summary

Ford of Monticello is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have ASE and Ford certifications and at least 2+ years of service technician experience. You will perform repairs, diagnose issues, and communicate with the Service Advisor about additional work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.
• Ford Certification
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred.
• Dexterity and steady hand with mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of needed additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
