Job summary

East West Hospitality is seeking a Sommelier for Viceroy Snowmass, a luxury resort at the base of Snowmass Mountain. You will curate the wine program, manage the cellar, and collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings advanced wine credentials, international cellar experience, and the charisma to connect with guests from connoisseurs to curious learners while maintaining Forbes Five-Star service standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive wine program development and cellar management.
• Experience delivering Forbes Five-Star level service.
• Ability to lead staff education in wine and beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Curate and maintain a world-class wine list across dining outlets and events.
• Oversee cellar operations including procurement, receiving, rotation, and inventory.
• Build relationships with importers and estates to source exclusive wines.
• Write wine notes and pairing recommendations for guests.
• Design wine pairing dinners and tastings.
• Partner with Executive Chef on menu concepts and events.
• Educate and train staff on wine and spirits.
• Ensure Forbes Five-Star standards and compliance.
