Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Specialist - Footwear to help athletes find the right fit and performance footwear. In a fast-paced store, you will guide customers, share product expertise, and collaborate with teammates to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will contribute to a welcoming store culture, follow merchandising standards, and participate in programs that reward customer-centric service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Demonstrated ability to engage customers and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand shopping needs and provide knowledgeable product information.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert for store area.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensures products are ready for purchase.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, prices, and replenishment.
• Promotes participation in company programs (loyalty, warranty, private label credit card enrollment).
• Creates an inclusive store environment; follows safety, loss prevention and SOPs and relevant laws.
