Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist - Footwear in our store. You will deliver expert footwear guidance focused on fit, performance, and comfort, while driving sales and supporting teammates in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will foster an athlete-first experience, maintain merchandising standards, and help create an inclusive, welcoming store environment for athletes of all abilities. Prior retail or customer-facing experience is preferred and a High School diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer-facing roles or retail preferred.
• Ability to learn product details and share recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by engaging customers and providing product information.
• Onboards and trains teammates in area-specific best practices and store processes.
• Maintains store standards, signage, inventory presentation, and planograms.
• Drives sales through product recommendations and athlete-focused service.
• Supports teammates and acts as a go-to expert for designated processes.
• Ensures a welcoming, respectful environment for customers and staff.
