DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Specialist - Footwear to help athletes find the right footwear and provide expert guidance on fit, performance, and comfort. You will drive sales, support teammates, and deliver a personalized shopping experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented store environment.

You'll participate in onboarding, uphold presentation standards, and promote loyalty programs while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer‑facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide clear, accurate information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert in their area of the store, focusing on best practices and operational processes.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset and ensuring products are ready for purchase.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promotes customer participation in company programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and credit card enrollment.
• Creates a welcoming store environment where teammates and athletes are treated with respect and compliant with policies and safety procedures.
