DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Specialist – Footwear to provide expert footwear guidance and drive sales in a fast-paced retail setting. You will support teammates, deliver athlete-first experiences, and contribute to an engaging in-store environment.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, teamwork, and excellent customer service as part of daily store operations and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Customer-facing experience in retail helps deliver an exceptional athlete experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members, focusing on best practices and operational processes.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution and ensures products are ready for athletes to purchase and engaged as they prefer.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promotes participation in company programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Creates a store environment where teammates and athletes are welcomed, respectful, and compliant with safety policies.
