Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Texas is seeking a store teammate to assist customers and enhance their shopping experience. You will greet customers, understand needs, and help with product discovery while upholding brand standards and accurate price and signage updates.

You will promote loyalty programs, warranties, and private-label credit card enrollment, while following safety rules, loss prevention, and store SOPs. This role emphasizes inclusivity and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods of standing or walking, up to several hours.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with a ladder or platform.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets and signage.
• Promote programs such as loyalty, warranties, and credit card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; maintain confidentiality.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
