Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to climb to heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).
• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location.
• DICK'S Sporting Goods complies with state paid leave requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs to support their shopping experience.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory.
• Promote company programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and private label enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
• Support the team across the store and perform tasks as assigned by management.
