Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring store teammates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and maintaining brand standards throughout the floor.

You'll promote loyalty programs, warranties, and credit card enrollment while following safety policies, supporting teammates, and contributing to a welcoming environment for all customers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking up to 4 hours and at heights >4 ft.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, pricing, and replenishment.
• Promote programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and credit card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOPs; protect company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome.
• Support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
