Job summary

American Exchange Group is seeking a highly organized Assistant, Sales Operations to support the day-to-day footwear sales order processes. You will collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, Inventory, and Logistics to ensure orders are entered accurately and shipped on time.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with Excel, comfortable handling large data sets, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is hybrid, onsite in New York with one remote day.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sales operations or related roles.
• Footwear, apparel, or consumer products experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including functions and basic reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales order entry for footwear products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review orders for quantities, pricing, ship dates, and requirements.
• Track orders through fulfillment and follow up on issues.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure smooth picking, packing and shipping.
• Maintain and update sales and inventory reports for internal teams.
• Support the Sales team with inquiries and order updates.
