Qualifications

  • Document meeting outcomes, decisions, actions, and next steps with SMEs and stakeholders
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables with proactive communication to sponsors and teammates
  • Maintain and update learning content and training materials
  • Develop supplemental learning assets like job aids and checklists
  • Create communications, dashboards, and status updates for milestones

Job Title: Footwear Operations Specialist II
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range: $(42.26 - 44.44)/hr on W2 all-inclusive without benefits
Job Description:
  • Any expected travel: No
  • Reason for opening: Immersion Prgm Project
  • Team details & who they will work with: HM and 2 other coworkers, Program Mgrs, and SME’s, and outside clients
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum required years of experience: 3- 4 yrs in Program Management or Operations and logistics in a learning environment
  • Education requirements: Associate’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent education, experience and training
Must have skills:
  • Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize, and deliver outcomes
  • Ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail; organized and analytical
  • Strong creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify needs, research solutions, and drive appropriate actions
Nice to have skills:
  • Learning and development experience is a plus
  • Adobe LMS and Articulate Rise360 experience is a plus

Software/technical requirements:
  • Proficiency with MIRO and Airtable, whiteboarding and database tools
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Premier) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel(Advanced))
  • Previous client/industry experience preference: Highly desirable, background on a training team is very helpful

  • As a Footwear Operations Specialist II on the BCU team (BCU), you will be part of a highly motivated, technically focused learning and development team dedicated to building foundational footwear knowledge and advancing technical and functional expertise across the Footwear Product Creation organization.
  • BCU designs and delivers engaging learning experiences that fuel creation and manufacturing capabilities, accelerate skill development, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and product excellence.
  • In this role, you will serve as a key operational partner to program managers and content creators, ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and execution of learning programs, content development initiatives, and learner experiences.
  • You will support cross-functional teammates by managing processes, maintaining operational standards, and driving efficiencies that improve program delivery and scalability.
  • Working closely with team leads and stakeholders, you will help enhance the accessibility, awareness, and adoption of technical training resources.
  • You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data, feedback, and process optimization to elevate learning experiences and strengthen technical footwear expertise across the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
  • In your day-to-day work you will collaborate with your teammates and technical subject matter experts to support the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning experiences aligned to technical priorities and organizational needs.
  • You will help coordinate and launch instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and immersive training programs that build technical capabilities across the Footwear Product Creation organization.
  • Through strong execution, organization, and partnership, you will help ensure learning experiences are engaging, accessible, and effective in driving skill development and business impact.
  • Support the preparation, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs and training experiences and initiatives.
  • Coordinate instructional activities, exercises, and logistics for classes and programs.
  • Assist in gathering feedback, developing criteria, and evaluating training effectiveness to inform content and experience improvements.
  • Maintain and update learning content, resources, and training materials under the guidance of team leads.
  • Help develop and maintain supplemental learning assets, including job aids, checklists, quick reference guides, and user resources.
  • Manage project plans, program playbooks and documentation, and operational processes to support successful program delivery.
  • Create communications, schedules, dashboards, and status updates that provide visibility into program milestones and progress for team and stakeholders.
  • Document meeting outcomes, decisions, action items, and next steps, ensuring timely communication with SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables to completion with proactive communication with project sponsors, teammates, and stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of operational processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Research and evaluate learning technologies, digital tools, and platforms that enhance and modernize learner engagement, accessibility, training content, and delivery effectiveness.
