Job summary

OOFOS is seeking a Footwear Designer II - Special Projects in Braintree, MA to lead rapid-turn collaborations, translating consumer insights into compelling product concepts that fit our brand aesthetic and comfort mission.

You will work outside seasonal cadence, delivering CMF, color, and graphic executions using existing tooling, collaborating with Product Management, Development, Marketing, and external partners to bring timely concepts to market.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of footwear design experience with rapid-turn projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with pattern design, print application, and color theory.
• 3D visualization (Rhino, Blender) and PowerPoint; AI-driven rendering is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of footwear materials, manufacturing processes, textile construction, and graphic techniques.
• Ability to manage fast deadlines and multiple quick-turn projects.
• Deep passion for sneaker culture, streetwear, fashion, and lifestyle trends.
• Balance creative innovation with brand and business objectives.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design rapid-turn CMF, color, and graphic treatments for off-calendar initiatives.
• Collaborate on elevated CMF packages for brand, retail, and influencer partnerships.
• Deliver execution-ready graphic, color, and material tech packs for fast-track production.
• Explore new materials and surface treatments to differentiate products.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Marketing, graphic/vendors, factories and external partners.
• Monitor street culture and fashion trends to identify opportunities and inform direction.
