Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a DC Operations leader to oversee daily eCommerce fulfillment and warehouse workflows across shifts. You will lead team members, ensure safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and collaborate with DC Operations, Merchant teams, and Store Operations to drive accurate fulfillment.

The role requires 7+ years of related experience with at least 3 years in management, strong WMS and RF inventory experience, and excellent communication and organizational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years related experience with at least 3 years of management.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF-managed inventory.
• Strong collaboration across shifts, DCs, and business units.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for your assigned shift, ensuring eCommerce fulfillment and supplies management.
• Drive accuracy, quality and productivity through processes and team leadership.
• Support safety, compliance and continuous improvement efforts in the DC.
• Maintain standards by monitoring performance metrics and safe work environments.
• Lead observations, address gaps, and train across teams.
• Coach your team through changes and cross-functional initiatives.
