Academy Sports + Outdoors in Georgia is seeking a DC Operations Manager to oversee the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF network within our distribution center.

You will partner with IT and DC teams to optimize merchandise flow, lead hourly and salaried staff, manage budgets, and implement system upgrades.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in WMS environments, warehouse leadership experience, and strong communication skills to drive cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• WMS configuration/maintenance experience is required.
• 4+ years in distribution/warehousing operations.
• 4+ years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between IT and DC personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain WMS and RF network performance.
• Analyze WMS strategies with DC Operations to optimize flow of merchandise.
• Manage equipment tracking and budgeting for the department.
• Lead and support DC staff; train WMS managers on systems.
