Under Armour seeks a Footwear Designer I to elevate our Basketball footwear line. This role focuses on Performance Run and Training footwear, offering creative exploration and collaboration with advanced technologies and innovations.

The position combines hands-on design work with cross-functional teamwork, contributing to the product engine and delivering concept sketches, renderings, and technical drawings.

Qualifications

• BA, BFA or BS in Industrial Design not required.
• 1+ yrs experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products (this can include internships, school projects, etc.)
• Knowledge of form, color, materials, human factors, related to elevating the consumer experience
• Proficient Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Working knowledge of 3D software is a plus
• Ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings
• Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills
• Introductory knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project
• Hand prototyping skills are a plus
• Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, Powerpoint, Acrobat, etc

Responsabilités

• Strengthen the footwear design engine by collaborating with design leaders and teammates.
• Partner with design leadership to drive concepts for Basketball footwear.
• Work and collaborate inclusively with Marketing, and Development teams to meet project objectives.
• Lead creation of individual footwear projects and milestone deliverables.
• Develop and execute clear and detailed sketches, renderings and technical drawings.
• Present design project work within project teams and at category checkpoints.
