The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Athletics Department seeks an Assistant Director of Athletic Performance for Football. You will report to the Director of Athletic Performance for Football and work exclusively with the football program.

Responsibilities include developing strength, speed, and injury-prevention programs, tailoring training for student-athletes, supervising interns, and coordinating with coaches and medical staff to optimize performance and safety.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• 1 year of collegiate athletic/sports performance or comparable experience.
• CSCS certification by the NSCA or CSCCA and CPR/AED and First Aid certification.

Mansioni

• Assist in developing and implementing performance programming for the football team, including strength, speed and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with the Director to create individualized training programs for student-athletes.
• Oversee the Athletic Performance staff and interns, providing guidance and feedback.
• Monitor progress and adjust training plans based on athlete development.
• Coordinate with coaching staff to align performance with practice and game schedules.
• Collaborate with Athletic Training/Sports Medicine to ensure appropriate care for injuries.
