Florida Polytechnic University seeks a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to design and direct a comprehensive program for 8 sports involving 120 student-athletes. The role emphasizes performance enhancement, injury prevention, and safe training within a culture of discipline and teamwork.

You will coordinate with coaches, athletic trainers, and performance staff, manage scheduling and budgets, and ensure equipment readiness while meeting institutional expectations in a dynamic collegiate

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology or related field.
• One year of strength and conditioning experience, or, in lieu of a degree, any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification is required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement strength and conditioning programs for 120 athletes across 8 sports.
• Demonstrate proper form, ensure athlete safety during lifts, and track progress.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices, trends, and certifications.
• Schedule sessions around practices and ensure availability for student-athletes.
• Collaborate with Athletic Training to ensure safety and assist with return-to-play.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
