Burnsville-Eagan-Savage District 191 is seeking an Assistant Coach for Football at Burnsville High School. The role includes overseeing athletes from practice to game, upholding character values, and serving as a positive model for students.

The position is funded as a Fall stipend with a total compensation of $1,200. Candidates should have or be willing to obtain the MSHSL Coaching Certification and stay current on the Coaches Dashboard.

Qualifications

• Coaching license or MSHSL Coaching Certification preferred.
• Must be current on MSHSL Coaches Dashboard with Continuing Education or be willing to complete requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organization and administration of coaching an athletic team.
• Plan and supervise the team to and from events, practices, and competitions.
• Work with Athletics Director and booster club on budgets and fundraising as needed.
• Support conditioning and weight training in-season and out-of-season.
• Coordinate practice and game schedules with Athletics Office and other programs.
• Enforce discipline and model sportsmanship; manage penalties for students.
• Perform other relevant duties regarding the program.
