The ideal candidate has knowledge of the sport, familiarity with MSHSL rules, and a coaching mindset. Coaching certification/licensing is preferred, with collaboration across the Athletics Office and booster club.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the sport and its fundamentals.
• Understanding of State/Mn ISD 191 policy on student conduct.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks during practices and games.
• Strong communication with students, staff, and families.
• Openness to feedback and growth-oriented mindset.
• Solid work ethic and dedication to student participation.
• Ability to perform essential coaching duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise coaching of the athletic team during practices and events.
• Coordinate travel, practice times, and competition schedules with the Athletics Office.
• Work with budget requests, booster clubs, and fundraising as needed.
• Support and implement conditioning and training programs with staff.
• Enforce discipline and model sportsmanship at all times.
• Maintain rosters and records of athletes and injuries as required.
• Perform other duties related to the program.
