Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Ocala, FL, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to support Dr. Reb, DO, with orthopedic foot and ankle care. The APP will conduct evaluations, manage treatment plans, and coordinate pre- and post-operative care in a fast-paced clinic.

This full-time, on-site role requires Florida PA/APRNP licensure, NCCPA certification, BLS/ACLS, and prior orthopaedics experience; strong organization and communication skills are essential for seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or APRN program.
• Current Florida license as PA or APRN.
• NCCPA certification (for PA) or national certification as an APRN.
• Experience in orthopaedics/foot and ankle preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain detailed medical histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
• Evaluate and treat orthopaedic injuries involving the leg, ankle, foot and toes.
• Support evaluation and management of foot and ankle conditions including trauma and arthritis.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (X-rays, imaging, labs) as indicated.
• Provide pre-op and post-op patient care and education; coordinate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Dr. Reb and clinical team to manage surgical and non-surgical cases.
• Coordinate follow-up care with therapy, imaging, and other physicians.
