Foodservice Workers will be assigned to perform various tasks within the foodservice area. This may include, but is not limited to, food preparation, packaging, and deliveries.
Responsibilities also include cleaning and sanitizing food service areas as required by management and regulatory agencies. Workers will take and record temperatures of food and storage areas such as refrigerators and freezers. They will place food trays over warmers for immediate service or store them in refrigerated cabinets. Weighing or measuring ingredients, receiving and storing supplies, and handling cash may also be part of the duties.
Additionally, workers must read and interpret patient meal tickets, confirm patient identifiers, recipes, ingredients, labels, and dating.
