Job summary

Cheney Brothers, part of Performance Food Group, is seeking an account sales professional to develop independent accounts and increase profitability through new sales and penetration of existing customers in the Lakeland area.

You will promote company branded products, target regional chains, and collaborate with credit and logistics to ensure delivery satisfaction; prior restaurant/foodservice sales is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6-12 months sales/marketing experience in a restaurant setting
• Valid Drivers Licence

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales territory and customers to generate additional business.
• Grow sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Set up new customer accounts and coordinate deliveries.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through coordination with center personnel.
• Penetrate accounts to maximize profitability.
• Monitor credit terms and minimize receivable problems.
• Track pricing trends to maintain competitive pricing.
