Performance Foodservice is seeking a driven sales professional to develop independent account business in the Jefferson County, TN area. You will promote company-branded products, work toward brand sales objectives, and support customer service activities for regional and national customers.

The role emphasizes profitability through new sales and account penetration, requiring teamwork within the department and organization to achieve company goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1 year restaurant management experience or general management in hospitality.
• 1 year outside sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and reliable transportation.
• Must live within 45 minutes of the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop independent account business with focus on profitability.
• Promote and sell company branded products to meet sales objectives.
• Support customer service activities for regional/national chain customers.
• Analyze sales territory and customers; plan strategy and provide presentations.
• Grow sales and margins to meet goals.
• Set up new customer accounts; coordinate with Credit and delivery teams.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues; assist with deliveries when needed.
• Maximize profitability through product penetration and pricing awareness.
