This is a high-growth, new-business development role for a proven revenue producer. The position carries an aggressive national sales target and requires someone capable of generating early sales momentum and accelerating account adoption.
The successful candidate must bring current, active relationships within institutional foodservice and broadline distribution that can be leveraged to gain access to decision-makers and create new business.
This is not a position centered on maintaining an established book of business. The person in this role must personally create and develop new opportunities, open doors, navigate complex sales cycles, ask for the business, and convert opportunities into recurring revenue.
The successful candidate is a proven revenue producer and natural new-business builder who is energized by people, motivated by winning, and comfortable initiating relationships with new prospects. They build rapport quickly, communicate persuasively, and know how to turn relationships into business.
They operate with urgency and keep opportunities moving. When the first path into an account does not work, they are resourceful enough to find another. They are comfortable navigating complex organizations, influencing multiple stakeholders, and asking for the business.
This person does not wait for opportunities to be handed to them. They create opportunities and take ownership of moving them toward revenue. They bring experience and ideas to the table while remaining coachable, receptive to direction, and aligned with established leadership priorities.
The role begins with clear structure, defined expectations, and regular accountability. Greater independence is earned through demonstrated sales performance, consistent follow-through, accurate pipeline management, and trust.
They take ownership of their commitments and results and represent both organizations with professionalism and integrity.
Success is measured by revenue and account adoption. This role is expected to generate early sales momentum, consistently convert qualified opportunities into purchasing accounts, develop repeat business, and expand adoption across institutional foodservice.
