Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a PFG broadline distributor, seeks a sales-driven professional to develop independent accounts in Texas and surrounding areas. You will promote company branded products and drive profitability through new sales and account penetration.

You may also support customer service for regional and national chains, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize market share. A high school diploma and 6–12 months of sales/food experience are preferred; bilingual Spanish

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or food experience
• Food service distribution experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business by analyzing sales territory and customers; samples products; plans strategy and presents to customers.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new accounts with pricing; coordinates with Credit and deliveries; follows up for satisfaction.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by coordinating with center personnel and resolving issues.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
