Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional, Restaurant Manager, Culinary Manager or Chef for outside sales responsibility. Build relationships with new and existing accounts while meeting sales and profit goals. Some non-traditional hours may be required to meet customer needs.

Role emphasizes territory development, product knowledge, and ongoing training in a purpose-driven organization with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience
• Bi-Lingual
• Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals
• Research customer business needs and tailor a mix of products and services
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events
• Communicate and collect balances per approved credit terms
• Manage deliveries per routing schedule and resolve order issues
• Attend sales and district meetings and participate in promotions and events
• Assist training of new employees as requested
