Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional for an outside sales role in the Florida region. You will promote Sysco products and services by building relationships with new and existing accounts.

This position may require non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs. You will drive sales growth and contribute to the company’s profitability while partnering with customers to understand their business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience in restaurant management or B2B/outside sales required.
• Bi-lingual abilities preferred; restaurant management or chef experience advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance with required limits.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth in the territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on business needs and goals.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedules and troubleshoot order issues.
