Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to lead growth in the Cary, IL territory. You will promote products and services, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales while meeting profit goals.

Some non-traditional hours may be required to serve customers effectively. Responsibilities include prospecting, account development, and delivering training and product information to client staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales/restaurant management experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability.
• Ability to relocate to territory and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and align products/services to customer needs.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Manage administrative duties including budgets, quotes, and reports.

Basic PC skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline

HSD/GED + 3 years Restaurant Management or outside sales experience
