Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services while building strong relationships with new and existing accounts in the Northwest region. Some non-traditional hours may be required to meet customers' needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent experience.
• Pass employment testing and meet Sysco insurability standards.
• Reside near the territorial geography or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable growth.
• Qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products and services.
• Evaluate market trends and advise customers on products and prices.
• Be informed about competitors' products, prices, and sales; share insights with customers.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive a personal vehicle to accounts and events; attend meetings.
• Manage accounts receivable with credit terms and collect balances due.
