Job summary

Sysco Los Angeles, Inc. is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote Sysco products and services while building relationships with new and existing accounts in the US-CA Hollywood/Koreatown area.

The role may require working non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs. A bachelor’s degree or related experience is required, with bilingual abilities as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Foodservice or B2B outside sales experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate accounts, and minimize lost business to grow profits.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service mixes.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products accordingly.
• Travel to customer accounts and manage deliveries per routing schedules.
• Provide product information and training to customers.
• Handle accounts receivable and credit terms with the credit department.
• Attend sales meetings and participate in ongoing training.
• Prepare quotes, budgets, and sales reports.
