Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our World Class Sales Team in California. This outside sales role focuses on promoting Sysco products, building new and existing accounts, and achieving sales and profit goals for the territory with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field, or 3 years B2B or Restaurant Management experience.
• Experience in outside sales and ability to travel within territory.
• Bi-Lingual is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet them.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs and goals.
• Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers.
