Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to drive outside sales within a California territory. The role focuses on promoting Sysco products, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and achieving sales and profit goals.

You may work non-traditional hours to meet customer needs, with opportunities for career progression and a robust benefits package, including ESOP and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 3 years in restaurant management or B2B outside sales is acceptable.
• Bi-lingual is a plus; strong communication skills and professionalism required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to grow profitable sales within the territory.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product solutions.
• Evaluate market trends and advise customers on products to meet business goals.
• Communicate product information, prices, availability, and usage; train customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts and participate in meetings and events.
• Review reports and maintain sales records and quotes; support credit/collections as needed.
