Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Illinois seeks an experienced outside sales professional to promote the companys products and services, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals.

This role may require non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) to meet customer needs, and involves driving to accounts, presenting offerings, and collaborating with credit and delivery teams to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product/service mix.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts and company events as needed.
• Coordinate with credit and transportation to manage deliveries and accounts receivable.
