Job summary

Maverik is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead and develop the store team, ensuring safe, high-quality food service in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, mentor team members, and uphold food safety standards in bold, customer-centric settings.

With 2+ years in foodservice management and ServeSafe certification, you’ll thrive on coaching others, maintaining clean self-serve options, and driving operational excellence under Store Director guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• Flexible schedule due to 24/7 store operations (nights/weekends/holidays possible).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and team.
• Remain calm and composed under pressure while delivering great service.
• Solid problem-solving ability to analyze issues and create solutions.
• 2+ years of foodservice management experience preferred.
• ServeSafe certification current or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example by overseeing all tasks and duties of team members.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and supervision of store staff.
• Ensure proper and safe food preparation; maintain clean self-serve options.
• Complete facility/equipment inspections in collaboration with Store Director and third-party inspectors.

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
