Down East Seafood Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales & Sales Support Associate to assist Outside Sales Representatives, handle day-to-day account needs, and contribute to customer satisfaction and account profitability.

This hybrid role supports 2–4 Outside Sales Representatives, helps with new account setup, orders, and data analysis, while maintaining select key accounts in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework a plus.
• Experience in foodservice distribution or sales support preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to analyze data and profitability metrics.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
• Data entry and 10-key experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support 2–4 Outside Sales Representatives as primary contact for accounts.
• Assist with new account setup, onboarding, and maintenance.
• Manage orders, add-ons, credits, and special requests.
• Communicate stock changes and order updates to customers and reps.
• Review orders for accuracy and maintain price and service levels.
• Analyze reports on profitability and growth opportunities.
